Determine one wall in your room as the primary focal point of the room, and choose a darker color for that wall. You should choose a color on the same base as your other wall colors, perhaps off of a color wheel, but at a darker shade than the rest of your walls. This will give you room a very classy and powerful feel that is very 2010 and beyond.
